Users can have different roles with different authorizations in tools. In the table, these can be Chief editor, Data editor and Viewer. The roles of members of the tool can be set when creating the tool or later in Settings.
Chief editors
- Chief editors can be appointed when creating the tool (or later in Tool settings)
- They can add and remove column headers and can add rows to the table.
- To do so, click on 'Edit cells' in the left side menu.
Data editors
- Data editors cannot add column headers to the table, they can only add and edit rows. If depends on the settings, whether they can see who created certain rows in the table.
- Data editors can add information to the table by clicking on ‘record new data’. Here the columns provided by chief editors can be filled with information. Existing rows can be edited and deleted. If you want to edit or delete a row, click on its contents, and the editing field will appear. If you want to delete it, click on ‘Delete’ and the row will be deleted.
Viewers
- They can only view and export the table, and do not have the right to edit the table's contents.
