You can set different notification settings for different tools in a scene. 

For instance, if your default setting is not receiving notification e-mail about news, but you still would like to receive notification e-mails about one tool, then you can set them in a custom way. 

To do this, click on the Notification setting on the right part of the field of each tool, where you can set if you want a digest report in the end of each day, an immediate notification, or none at all.
