The basis of importing Word documents into the Question Bank is the different text styles in Word. 

To create a file suitable for importing:

1. Open Word.
2. Open the document that contains the questions, or write the questions. 
3. Create tge bold style names as seen below (if you haven't already).
4. According to the rules below, assign the style names to the suitable paragraphs. 
5. Save the document in XML format. 

You can add formatting, but it is always the style name that counts. Style formatting is not copied into CooSpace, but italics, bold, and underlining is. 

• Single choice: The style of the question should be quiz_single. The question should be in one paragraph, and the style soulf be applied to the paragraph, not only to the text. After the question, there are the answer options. Every option ishould be one paragraph. The style of the correct answer should be quiz_validanswer. 
• Multiple choice: The style of the question should be quiz_multi. The question should be 1 paragraph, although there can be line breaks in it. The style should be applied to the paragraph, not just the text. After the question, type the answer options, the correct answer's style being quiz_validanswer. 
• Text question: The style of the question should be quiz_text. The question should be one paragraph, lthough there can be line breaks in it. The style should be applied to the paragraph, not just the text. After the question, type the correct answer options, their style being quiz_validanswer.
