Exams can be modified and deleted the following way. 

To modify the settings of an exam test, enter the Exam tool, and select Settings in the left side menu. A window will pop up, where you can edit the settings of the tool.

To delete the Exam tool, enter the tool and select 'Delete tool' in the left side menu, and confirm to delete the tool and all of its contents.
